Imphal, March 31 2009: The Association of Paona Memorial Arts and Rural Development Service (APMARDS) have organized the valedictory function of the "Training in Thang-Ta" on March 30 last at the multipurpose community hall of APMARDS, Wangkhen, Thoubal District.

Secretary of APMARDS, K Hemchandra in a press statement said that the training course was conducted under the sponsorship of Sangeet Natak Akademi, New Delhi and stretched for a span of four months.

Around 50 students from Thoubal District and Imphal East District participated at the Thang �Ta training course which concluded yesterday.

Advisor, All Manipur Polo Association, Dr M Rajendra Singh, Principal cum Director of APMARDS, Guru K Shanathoiba Sharma and Th Joy graced the valedictory function as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honour respectively.
