Many foodies can't stop savouring State's cuisines at Heritage park

The people of the State are loving the cuisines, meat and snacks available at the stalls of Sangai Heritage park, Hapta Kangjeibung which are opened as part of the ongoing Manipur Sangai Festival.
Many food lovers are relishing the cuisines of Manipur like Singju, Bora, Keli Chana and others including pork, beef and varieties of sausages.
Talking to The Sangai Express, one of the stall owner Ngangom Anita said she could earn around Rs 20,000 in a day, from selling Singju, Bora, Keli Chana; Hei-ngal and U-mangra (Cassava), since the opening of the Sangai festival.
She said that she opens her stall from 9 in the morning till 9 pm and added that some people commonly buy Singju, Bora, Keli Chana repeatedly from her stall that there were times when she was piled up with food orders.
Laishram Mema, Wahengbam , Modhubala, Wahengbam Indira and Ngathem Sunita are also assisting her and they are of big help during the rush hours, she told The Sangai Express.
She said the visiting people mostly love Singju so much that she even ran out of ingredients to make it.
She added that she hires people to chop/cut the Singju ingredients at home as it is impossible to cut it at the spot while making and serving the foods at the same time.
The Sangai Heritage park, which is a place for different communities residing in the State, is also offering varieties of items from various communities.
Among these vendors/stalls, one owner of a stall, Kaini Mao said she sells chicken meat and pork and could earn easily around Rs 10,000 in a day.
One Parly Chiru has told The Sangai Express that the chicken meat, pork and beef available in her stall are cooked without factory made ingredients but are made in the way their forefathers cooked using natural ingredients and vegetables.
Parly said she earns around Rs 1000-2000 in a day.
Meanwhile, one Achon Tangkhul who sells meats said she could earn around Rs 3000 in a day and one Sangthambui who sells fruit juice, roti, Heitup, Bora and pork curry said she could earn Rs 3000 on a daily basis.
Speaking to The Sangai Express, one Daikuni Haokip said pork, chicken meat, snail curry, roti, red tea are available in her stall and she could earn around Rs 4000 in a day.
One Angdul Maring, who sells beef and fried chicken said he could earn Rs 2000 while one Veronica Kabui said she sells beef Singju, pork sausage and Waiyoo and earn Rs 2000 in a day.
The visiting people of the State as well as the tourists are enjoying the foods and drinks whenever they feel hungry or parched from roaming around the festival spot.
