Imphal, December 24 2009: The 25th Manipur State Taekwondo Championship organised by All Manipur Taekwondo Association which was commenced on December 21 last concluded today at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal.

UTA with 407 points bagged the overall team champion's title while SAI won the second place with 184 points.

UTA won sub-junior girls' team champion's title with 92 points while CTI-S won second place with 54 points.

UTA won sub-junior boys' team champion's title with 103 points while CTI-S won second place with 85 points.

In junior girls' event also, UTA won team champion's title with 74 points.

Nambol won second place with 58 points.

SAI won junior boys' team champion's title with 74 points while UTA won second place with 61 points.

SAI also won the team champion's title of senior women and senior men while UTA won the second places of both category.

SAI scored 41 points in senior women and 43 points in senior men.

On the other hand UTA won 35 points in senior women and 42 points in senior men.

In today's events, S Loving of PTA won first place in sub-junior boys' U-22 category.

P Dayarani of Nambol won second place while Ch Saolin and Sh Kritica of UTA won third places.

L Lovely of CTI-S won first place in sub-junior girls' U-27 category while Pretina Nongmaithem of PTA won second place.

Y Sonia of Marjing and L Yaiphabi of CTI-S won third places.

T Rajialily of Nambol won first place in junior girls' U-46 category while L Twinkle of SAI won second place.

W Kalpana of Nagamapal and W Prinarika of UTA won third places.

Th Basanti of Nambol won first place in junior girls' U-55 kg category.

Ch Baby Rose of UTA won second place.

M Ronita of Marjing and Th Bicky of SAI won third places.

K Namita of Nambol won first place in senior women's U-53 kg category.
