New Delhi, November 15 2008:
INDIAN WOMEN'S Hockey Federation (IWHF) on Friday ordered a probe into allegations of junior player Navneet Kaur that goalkeeping coach A.Edwards misbehaved with her during the ongoing national camp in Lucknow.
Navneet had alleged that she was thrown out of camp after vociferously objecting to alleged advances from Edwards.
"I have asked chief coach GS Bhangu to submit a detail report on the issue.
The report will be taken up by the IWHF disciplinary committee," IWHF Secretary Amrit Bose said.
"It is an unpleasant episode for us.
We are not going to tolerate such indiscipline.
We have asked both the player and goalkeeping coach to leave the camp" .
Bose, though, said that Navneet should have spoken to the federation before going to the media.
