IW 1st Divn Football: SJC rout BMSC 4-0 for third win on trot

Imphal, October 08 2025: SJC, Sangaithel Road overwhelmed BMSC, Taobungkhok by 4-0 goals for the third straight victory in the 30th L Sangita Devi Memorial 1st Division Football League 2025 being underway at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi.

SJC, who are in red hot form following 6-1 thrashing of KAN, Kadangband and 2-0 thumping of SKYC, Sekmai, dominated the game from the beginning and handed BMSC their second defeat of the tournament.

SJC found the lead after 20 minutes through Indra as BMSC managed to soak up early pressure before Sanathoi doubled the advantage in the 32nd minute.

After leading the first half 2-0, SJC piled further pressure on BMSC with Dhiren scoring the third goal in the 53 rd minute before Dravid made it 4-0 after 79 minutes.

BMSC struggled to find a face saving goal towards the close of the game but SJC players did well to keep all threats at bay and walked away 4-0 winners.

With the three of three wins, SJC temporarily go top with 9 points as SOYO, Uripok Kangchup Road remain second on 6 points from 1 wins and 3 draws in four matches.

SOYO will play KYC, Khurkhul in the next match tomorrow.

The match begins at 2.30 pm at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi.
