Imphal, August 30: DSA, Ukhrul edged out DSA, Bishnupur by a solitary goal to top Group B and set up semi final clash against group A runners-up IEDFA in the 12th Under-15 Boys Inter District Football Tournament.

Mathun's seventh minute goal in a group tie against DSA ensured full points for the Ukhrul team who finished their league campaign on two wins and a draw pipped IWDFA to the top of the group by virtue of better goal difference.

Imphal West DFA in their last group match against DFA, thoubal at Khuman Lampak Practice ground today came from behind to win at 3-2 and grab the runners-up spot with the same point as Ukhrul but having conceded more goals.

L Fernando (12th) and S Meiraba (26th) netted the Thoubal goals as L Sanayai (13th), S Dinesh (60th) and W Tyson (63rd) launched the Imphal West fightback.

In the semi finals on September 1, IWDFA will take on DSA, kakching at 12.30 pm while DSA, Ukhrul face IEDFA at 2pm.
