Imphal, December 08 2010: Bishnupur emerged overall team champion of the 3rd Annual School Meet organized by the Department of Education (S) as it concluded today at the Main Stadium of Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal.

Bishnupur won 12 gold, one silver and four bronze medals and won first place.

Imphal East won seven gold, seven silver and six bronze medals and won the second place.

Thoubal was in the third place with five gold, nine silver and four bronze medals.

In senior boys' mukna played today, Kh Romen (Tbl) won first place.

L Amarjit (IE) and Th Jacky (IW) won second and third places respectively.

In junior boys' mukna, Mashouri (Spt) won first place.

S Rabi (CCpur) and Wungripam (Ukl) won second and third places respectively.

Imphal East won the first place in senior girls' Kho-Kho event.

Thoubal and Bishnupur stood second and third positions respectively.

In senior boys' 400 m race, A Suraj (IE) won first place.

Yunus Ali (Tbl) and H Ronald (IW) won second and third places respectively.

In senior girls' 400 m race, N Tracy (IE) won first place.

Miss Wahida (Tbl) and Carolin (Tml) won second and third places respectively.

In junior boys' 400 m race, M Sanjoy (Bpr) won first place.

K Prasanta (IE) and Md Ali (Tbl) won second and third places respectively.

In junior girls' 400 m race, S Bidyaluxmi (IE) stood first position.

T Thaihenbi (IW) and Miss Rozina (Tbl) won second and third positions respectively.
