Imphal, January 23: Model Club defeated NAPSA by five wickets in the 3rd Manipur Veteran Cricket Championship being held at THAU ground.

Electing to bat first NAPSA scripted a moderate total of 142 runs losing all the wickets in 28.2 overs.

In reply Model Club reached the target in 27.1 overs losing five wickets.

H Indeshwor Singh was declared man of the match with his knock of 50 runs and three wickets.
