Imphal, September 28: Under the aegis of Indian Weightlifting federation, Manipur Weightlifting Assn will organise 4th Youth (boys/girls) National Weightlifting Championship from November 22 till 24 in addition to 44th Men's and 20th Junior (women) National Weightlifting Championship at Imphal from November 26 till 29.In connection with the ensuing championships a special meeting attended by Sports Minister N Biren, Education Minister L Jayantakumar, Commissioner (YAS) Ch Birendra and president (MOA) E Binoykumar was held at Hotel Imphal wherein 12 sub-committees were formed for smooth conduct of the championship which is expected to be participated by 350 male and female lifters.
