MPSC�B, SPC enter semi finals in 57 Mtn Div Polo Tourney

Imphal, February 20 2012: Manipur Police Sports Club (MPSC)�B and Singjamei Polo Club (SPC) after defeating their respective opponents entered into the semi final rounds of the 3rd 57 Mountain Division Polo Tournament �2012 organised by the Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association (MHRPA) under the sponsorship of 57 Mountain Division at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal. The first match today was played between MPSC�B and Tekcham Polo Club (TPC) in which MPSC beat TPC 6-2 to win the match.

In the first chukker, T Pradipkumar of MPSC scored three goals while Kh Tombi of TPC scored one goal.

The second chukker went goalless for both teams.

In the third chukker, S Viking of MPSC scored one goal.

S Ranjit of TPC also scored one goal in the chukker.

In the fourth chukker, S Abungcha of MPSC scored two goals.

On the other hand, TPC players failed to score any goal in the chukker and lost the match.

MPSC entered semi finals.

The second match today was won by SPC after defeating MPSC�C 6-3.In the first chukker, both SPC and MPSC scored two goals each.

The two goals of SPC were scored by P Ojit and the goals of MPSC by M Vivekananda.

In the second chukker also, both teams scored one goal each.

The goals were scored by Ojit and Vivekananda again.

In the third chukker, S Sadananda of SPC scored one goal while MPSC players failed to score any.

In the fourth chukker also, MPSC failed to score any goal.

On the other hand, P Ojit and S Sadananda of SPC scored one goal each helping his team in winning the match.

SPC entered semi finals.

In the first semi final tomorrow, Khurai Polo Club �A will fight MPSC�A at 1 pm while SPC will take on MPSC�B in the second semi final match at 2 pm.
