Imphal, February 15: The executive council meeting of Manipur Olympic Association held today at its Khuman Lampak Sports Complex office resolved to conduct the First State Games in November month.

The meeting held presided by Manipur Olympic Association president E Binoykumar also discussed in detail revised guideline of financial assistance proposed by the State Government to enable Manipur Olympic Association and other State district level sports bodies to promote sports activities.

As pointed out during the meeting, members present resolved to approach the Government to hike fund allocation for hosting national, zonal and district level competitions.

Decision was also adopted to press for early release of fund liable to different State sports association by the Youth Affairs and Sports Department besides the members expressing satisfaction on Manipur winning the 11th Sub-Junior National Hockey Championship that concluded at Imphal yesterday.
