Imphal, December 26 2009: WCA, Sagolband Yengkhom Leirak and Royal Eleven young Star (REYS), Nagamapal will clash for the title of the 7th Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament on December 27.Riding on Mujibur Rehman's all-round performance of 97 runs and two rival scalps, the Nagamapal side crushed IWVCC, Imphal by 76 runs in the second semifinal match played on December 24 at the Oriental College & Model Hr Secondary School ground.

Electing to bat first, REYS piled 175 runs for the loss of six wickets in the curtailed match of 28 overs a side.

In reply, all the IWVCC batsmen returned to the dressing room in 25.4 over.

Mujibur was declared man of the match.

REYS will also feature in another final when the youth team of the Nagamapal side will take on Champ, Khagempali in the title clash of the 1st Heritage Cup T20 cricket tournament at Luwangpokpa ground tomorrow.

Chasing Blue Hawk, Khurai's score of 96 for four in the second semifinal on December 24, REYS batsmen overhauled the target (100/3) in 17.4 over with opener Shahadat remaining not out on 48 off 50 balls.

Shahadat, who also claimed two rival wickets, was named man of the match.
