Imphal, Aug 25: AIM, Khabam failed to hold onto their three minute breakthrough as PYA, Kairang levelled in additional period of first half for a 1-1 draw in today's MK Gha-nendrajit Super Division Football League Tournament being played at Khabeisoi.

With both sides yet to record victory in the competition so far, L basu provided a ray of hope to break AIM's point drought when he capitalised on a goalkeeper folly to slam home in the third minute.

the slender lead lasted for nearly the entire first half until M Ibochouba fed by Paominlen Hangsing equalised one minute into added time.

Both sides have three points from three draws and a loss each.

In the M Ibobi Memorial Division I league tournament at the same venue, Y Jugeshor scored his fifth goal in the competition to assist YOSC, Khurai record 2-0 win against ABA, Kshetrigao.

After Jugeshor broke the stalemate in the 48th minute of the 80 min tie, K Kiran dashed any hope of ABA's comeback increasing the YOSC lead to 2-0 in the 48th minute.

The contest was, however, marred by the sending-off of ABA's Md Munir Khan who collected second consecutive booking in the 59th minute and yellow cards flashed against his teammate S Sabir and L Romen of the Khurai side.

YOSC's points tally with today's win has reached 10 including a draw compared to ABA's nine.
