Imphal, Jul 24: Somen netted 24 points in CYLC, Chingamathak's 61-6 demolition of local rival Model Club, Chingamakha, as TIC, Thangmeiband brushed aside Don Bosco 49-26, Soibam Leikai outfit EEE outplayed LMYVA, lalambung 47-21 and ESU, Wangkhei humbled KSC, Moirang 22-8 in boys matches of the 24th State Level sub-junior Basketball Championship at Nahabam Court today.

In TIC's win over Don Bosco, Durgesh (12) and Sanjoy (9) did the bulk of the scoring while Bitamjit's 12 point effort failed to lift the Bosconians' spirit.

EEE's victory over the Lalambung cagers came through 13 point scoring spree of W Dilipkumar while the losers tried to make a comeback riding on L Pumhenhenba's seven.

In the last match of the day, all round display from ESU players ensured the 22-8 victory against their Moirang rivals.

Basanta and Lincoln culled four points each followed by three each from Babloo and Boy while Deepak, Bronson, charanjit and Kaashder chipped in two apiece.
