Imphal, May 23: FVWA outplayed VC, Lamka 5-1 in the opening match of the 9th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung today.

FVWA dominating the proceedings scored three in the opening session and two in the second half during which VC's only goal was scored at the fag end of the match through Khaikhomang.

Three of the FVWA goals were scored by B Sanahal in the 15th, 18th and 32nd minutes of the game as Rajen Khanganba chipped in with a 25th minute strike.
