Imphal, August 22: Sehlon village team claimed the champions' title of the volleyball tournament organised by the 44 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Hqs IGAR (S).

The winning team received Rs 3000 as runners-up Changjal bagged Rs 1500.In all eights teams of Samtal area namely Sehlon, Changjal, Phoilen, Tuitong, Old Samtal, Tuileng, Kovang and Phaiphenkot participated in the tournament, informed PRO IGAR (S) in a statement issued today while conveying that such an event has been organised in Samtal area for the first time in 15 years.
