Imphal, May 22: Amitra's all-round performance helped Trau defeat IBSA by 43 runs in a league match of the 13th IDCA league cum knock-out tournament 2005-06 at THAU ground today.

Electing to bat first, TRAU batsmen amassed 249 for seven in the 35 over game built around Amitra's 69 ball 64 and vital knocks from Jotish (32) and Amarjit (39). Barring a fourth wicket partnership between Demin (47) and Gulsan (32) IBSA was never in sight of the stiff target as Bobin and Amitra ensured periodic collapse to finish their stints with four and three wickets respectively.

Amitra was named man of the match.

YWC and PCC will play tomorrow.
