Imphal, February 20, 2010: Noney Part-IV Youth Club defeated Noney Pt-II YC by a solitary goal to wrest the title of the Inter Village Club Football tournament held at Rongkhong, Tamenglong district from February 15 till 20, said a release of Commandant 86 Bn CRPF, Lamphel the tournament sponsor.

closing function of the tournament, organised by the CRPF unit under the civic action programme-2010, was held with IGP (Manipur & Nagaland Sector) CRPF RC Tayal and Mrs RC Tayal as the chief guest and president respectively.

Amid presence of commandants of 86 Bn SL Sengupta, 69 Bn UB Mishra, 172 Bn KL Lamba and other 86 Bn officials, as well as village leaders, the chief guest distributed trophies along with Rs 10,000 to the champions, Rs 8000 to the runners-up side and Rs 3000 to the best player of the tournament.

Moreover, football uniforms, individual prizes, memento trophy to Rongkhong Youth club and cash reward to the cultural troupe were also distributed by the RC Tayal.
