Imphal, Sep 19: SICO (Lourembam Leikai), KSC (Lambulane) and YPhU (Lalambung) recorded convincing victories against respective opponents in the 13th L Sangita Devi Memorial Division I football league tournament at THAU ground today.

Playing against YPA, Uripok, SICO went on the offensive with Jasobanta scoring an 11th minute goal which was equalised by S Sanjoy three minutes later.

However, the Uripok side failed to sustain their initial perseverance as the SICO rampage persisted with goals at regular intervals through Roshan (22nd), Bisheshor (34th), Suresh (40th) and Makal (71st).In KSC's 2-0 drubbing of CHIKL of Chajing, Marwat and Letminthang Touthang scored in each half to garner full points while last match between YPhU and SKYC, Sekmai was won by the former 3-0.All the goals were scored by Biakmung.

Apabi football: UDO, Heingang outplayed KIYC, Kshetri Iril Mapal 5-1 in today's match of the Nahakpam Apabi Memorial Junior Division football league tournament 2006 being played at Khuman Lampak Practice ground.
