Imphal, September 16: Manipur Amateur Muay Thai Association has selected 10 players and three officials to participate in the 9th Senior National Muaythai Championship to be held from October 12 till 17 at Bangalore.

The players selected to represent the State include Md Wahidur Rahman, Salima KH (pin weight), Md Islauddin, KH Wazira (light fly), Md Anash Khan, N Valentina (fly), L Sanjoy Singh (bantam), N Sanjit (feather), Md Jalaruddin (light) and Md Riyaz Khan (light middle).

The officials include Md Alauddin Shah (coach), Md Rafi (team manager) and Ak Mustafa (referee/judge/ladies' coach).

A special training camp for the selected players would be held till October 5 at the Association's training centre from 7 am.
