Imphal, April 30: SAI RC riders asserted their supremacy by finishing the First Manipur State Track Cycling Championship with a medal haul of 36 out of which 14 are gold.

On the last day of the competition at Khuman lampak Velodrome today, SAI riders made a clean sweep of the women's elimination race while a silver and bronze came through U Ashok and L Bikram respectively in men's elimination race which was won by H Lenindro of USA.

SAI trio of H Denila, T Nila and Y Sunila dominated the women's race of the event to bulge the team's medal collection.

In other events held today, H Dipak Meitei of USA won the under-12 boys 500 metre time trial completing the course in 47.17 seconds as RK Khaba of TIC and IBSA's S Bigyananda secured the second and third position respectively.

The under-12 girls title in the same event was bagged by L Bidyarani of NISA (53.17 secs) while clubmate Ksh Babysana settled for the second spot at 55.71 secs as H Velentina of CRYDA finished third.
