Moreh, March 27: Meetei Council Cricket Team will clash Sunrise Youth Club in the grand finale of the CDCA Trophy 2006 to be played on March 3, a repeat of the 2005 final where the latter defeated the former.

In the second semifinal played today MCC defeated Gorkha Youth Club by four wickets.

The trophy was organised by Chandel District Cricket Association and sponsor by IGAR (South) and 24 AR under the aeges of 26 Sector Assam Rifles with seven teams from the district participating in it.

Electing to bat GYC could managed only 141 runs with the top order failing prey to the devastating spell of Ibobi who captured four wickets.

Ranjan was top scorer with 31 runs off 51 balls.

In reply MCC team complete the task with nine overs to spare.
