Imphal, October 21: Manipur senior wushu team secured runners-up position with an impressive haul of two gold, nine silver and five bronze medals in the 14th Senior National Wushu Championships held at Lucknow from october 8 till 13, informed Wushu Association of Manipur.

The State contingent was led by M Biramani Singh as Sanshou coach, Sachidananda M as Taolu coach with L Pradipkumar and M Ibomcha as managers of Sanshou and Taolu teams respectively.

Medal winners Taolu event: P Thoibi Devi (G-1, S-1), M Sushila (S-2, B-1), M Poireinganba (S-2), Ng Indrakumar (S-1), W Bijen (S-1), N Sangeeta (B-1).
