Both the matches in the 5th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tournament ended at identical 1-1 draws at Mapal Kangjeibung today.
In the NEVFA versus AYVFA group C tie, Aguilung equalised for the former in the 57th minute after Md Serajuddin had provided the breakthrough for AYVFA a minute earlier.
On the other hand, Th Krishnamohan struck in the 26th minute for ATVFA, Thangmeiband in a group A clash against VFA, Kakching which was neutralised by Ksh Dharmadash ten minutes later.
