Imphal, June 27: ABA, Khergao caused a major upset in the ongoing Maharajkumar Ghanendrajit Super Div Football League Tournament defeating NEROCA, Laipham Khunou 2-1 at THAU Sports Complex today.

Failure to take advantage of a penalty award in the 27th minute proved fatal for the Laipham Khunou side whose S Manimohan shot straight at the ABA custodian L Manichandra.

On the other hand, ABA grabbed with both hands a spot kick award in the 52nd minute as Y Surchandra coolly slotted home to equalize after NEROCA took the lead with Kh Ramesh' header in the 14th minute.
