Imphal, April 29: Ideal Club, Tera Bazar stormed into the boys' final of the 16th State Youth Basketball Championship with an impressive 71-47 points victory against LMYVA, Lalambung at Uripok Achom Leikai Basketball Court today.

With the exception of the first quarter where both were tied at 12 points apiece, the Tera Bazar cagers dominated the remaining three sessions to seal the first semi final with the comfortable margin.

Ksh Pratap emerged as the maximum point fetcher for the winners at 25 followed by 21 from Ksh Rakesh with Tony M (9), N Peter (8), and T Mydrindro and Ksh Tinku (4 each) with the other notable contributors.

Ideal Club with play the winner of second semi final between CYLC, Chingamathak and PYO, Uripok in the final.

PYO booked the last four berth with after a 52-26 drubbing of YOSC, Khurai.

Meanwhile, YOSC girls were awarded maximum points after CYLC failed to turn up for their scheduled match.

The tie was, however, for academic interest as KSC, Moirang had already clinched the title with an all-win record in the five competition.

Ideal Club eves finished second.
