Imphal, October 28: AMOFA, USA and TRAU defeated their respective opponents as SSU, Singjamei held PYC, Phoudel to a 1-1 draw with similar score line ending in the NISA versus MPSC tie in today's matches of the 2nd Manipur State League football tournament at different venues.

Host AMOFA registered a comfortable 2-0 victory over ESU, Wangkhei at Moirang with goals from Lokesh (44th) and Ashajit (91st) while the lone goal for Khurai side USA against NEROCA, Laipham Khunou at Khundrakpam was scored in the 59th minute when Th Inaomacha found the mark off a W Daniel essay.

Visitors TRAU, Tiddim Road spoilt home side KFC's party at Kakching when Hemkhothang broke the first half stalemate with a 67th minute goal before Lunminlal Khongsai doubled the advantage 11 minutes later.

Hosting SSU at Phoudel, PYC opened the score through Md Riyas Khan in the 33rd minute while Rocky Philem restored parity for the Singjamei side in the 72nd minute of the match.

In the NISA, Thangmeiband and MPSC tie at Sekmai Kangjeibung, that served as the former's home turf, S Manimohan rattled the police defence with a 15th minute goal only to see I Nillakumar level the score in the 34th.
