FIFA Prez may visit Manipur

Imphal, Jul 28: As part of AFC pilot project 'Vision India Project' under Grassroot Development Project taken up in the State, AFC Grassroot Development Officer Zita Singh arrived today on a four day visit in Imphal to take stock of the programme which currently in implementation stage.

World football governing body Federation de Internationale Football Association (FIFA) president Sep Blatter may arrived in the State in October this year to inaugurate the State Football League under AFC ambitious project.

The visiting AFC official will tour the four districts Churachandpur, Bishnupur, Thoubal and Kakching where the grassroot development programme is currently being taken up and interact with selected schools and inspect the condition of school grounds.

Later he will interact with AMFA officials on the project.
