Imphal, April 26: Chingkheihunba Polo Club-A whipped Thangmeiband Youth PC-B 6-1 while Khurai PC whacked Marjing PC 19-2 in league matches of the 11th N Hazari State polo tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung today.

Barring the first chukker, CPC scored two goals in each of the remaining three sessions to outplay their Thangmeiband opponents whose face saving goal came through L thomas in the last chukker.

L Minaketan and Md Abdullah struck two each for the winners with P Goroba and Th Kaoba netting one each.

In the resounding victory for the Khurai side, Th Momocha scored 11 of the team goals, followed by Ojit on six and two from T roshan.

Marjing's score opened in the third chukker through H Ibomcha with W open prodding home the second in the last session.
