Imphal, May 25:
The 21 member indian junior squad for the 1st World Junior Wushu Championships at Kuala Lumpur comprises 11 martial artistes from Manipur, informed Wushu Association of Manipur.
Further coaching of the national team will be conducted at Imphal in July, the Association informed and added that Sachidanana M and M Birmani Singh have been nominated as routine coach and sanshou judge respectively for the international competition to be held from August 19 till 26.
Selected players
Routine: W Shakhenbi Chanu, Ch Devjani Devi, L Jhaljit Singh, H Omega Meitei, P Rebika Devi.
Sanshou: Y Sanathoi (48 kg), Arunpama Devi (52 kg), K Naocha Devi (56 kg), H Gagarin (60 kg).
