Imphal, August 24: Alobung Pamei and Khamshinthui scored one goal each in the opening session to help TNYC, Thangmeiband defeat YDO, Konjeng Leikai 2-0 in the 14th L Sangita devi Memorial Division I Football League Tournament 2007 at Mapal Kangjeibung today.

The win propelled TNYC to second spot (17) , two points behind YDO.

bandh appeal: Department of Youth Affairs and Sports appealed to desist from calling bandh to ensure smooth conduct of the State Level Inter School Games in aquatics, boxing, fencing, football and wrestling from August 29 till September 4 at Khuman Lampak Sports complex.

Medical test: Sub junior boys footballers recommended by their respective DSAs/DFAs are informed to undergo medical test for age verification on August 26 at 2 pm at the AMFA office.

The players are further informed to produce one passport size photograph and relevant certificates issued by school authorities.
