Imphal, August 22: SWC, Khongman carved out a slender 1-0 win over RAU, Lairikyengbam Leikai as nESU, Khurai overwhelmed YDC, Awang Potsangbam 3-1 in the Moirangthem Ibobi (IE) Division I Football League Tournament at Khabeisoi ground today.

S Ranjit's 62nd minute goal fetched maximum points for SWC against RAU, while goals from S Krishan (19th) and N Rakhen (31st, 44th) ensured NESU's convincing victory against their Awang Potsangbam rivals for whom K Newton bridged the score deficit in the 72nd minute.

Sangita League: In lop-sided matches of the 15th L sangita Devi Memorial (IW) Division I Football League Tournament played at Chajing ground today, CYLC, Chingamathak crushed YPA, Uripok 5-0 as YDO, Heinoukhongnembi trounced NYC, Namthalong 4-0.Gandhi's brace (12th, 80th) and one each from Henry (23rd), Sunder (29th) and Naopik (79th) helped CYLC post the convincing victory against YPA while in YDO's triumph over NYC, G Singba Kabui ruffled the opponents' net on three occasions (8th, 9th, 31st).M Ronel chipped in with a 16th minute goal.
