Imphal, Sep 19: Khumanthem Dasini Devi scaled the top reach of the Kangla Rock Wall to lead a clean sweep of host climbers in the women's open category of the 8th North East Zone Sports Climbing Competition at MMTA complex today.

Dasini, who reached the top of the wall in 3.21 minutes was followed in second position by Senjam Devala (2.54/31+), as other State-mates Ningthoujam Bidyapati (4.57/23+), Oinam Babicha (5.56/23), I Bimota (4.57/23-) and B Puspa (3.45/15) occupied the third to sixth positions.

Lucy of Meghalaya, Lairuafelli (Mizoram) and Ranju Moni Borah (Assam) were the other competitors in the event.

The final round in the junior boys� category would be competed by two each from Arunachal Pradesh Meghalaya and Mizoram, besides seven scalers from the host State.
