AMOFA enter Loktak Trophy semis

Imphal, February 17, 2010: AMOFA, Moirang became the first team to advance into the last four stage of the ongoing 3rd Loktak Trophy football Tournament being held at Moirang Multi-purpose Higher Secondary ground.

In the last Group C match played today, AMOFA humbled neighbours RCU of Moirang Khunou 5-1 as K Udanta completed a brilliant hattrick with goals in the 53rd, 72nd and 76th minutes.

Earlier, Ch Bikashor opened the AMOFA score in the 11th minute before doubling his personal tally one minute from end.

In between H Johnson found the mark in the 78th minute.

The RCU consolation goal came in the 84th minute through Y Ranjan.With the win AMOFA topped the group on four points having drawn its opening match against ESU at 1-1.
