Imphal, June 15: N Bobo scored a hattrick as FLAM, Yaiskul took maximum advantage of 10-men Mary Kom VFA, Langol in recording a comfortable 3-1 victory margin and move into the semi finals of the 9th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tournament at Mapal Kangjeibung today.

Any hope the Langol side harboured for advancing further in the competition suffered huge blow when the match official gave the marching order to S Ahang for handling the ball inside the restricted zone only two minutes into play.

While Bobo opened the FLAM score with the resultant penalty award, the same player doubled the lead in the 16th minute before completing the feat 12 minutes later.

Mary Kom VFA scored the consolation goal in the 40th minute through R Angam Chiru.

N Bobo was named player of the match.

VC, lamka will play KVFA, Khurai tomorrow.
