Imphal, May 15: N Sandhiraj (SAI-A) bagged the lone gold medal in junior boys epee event on the opening day of the 2nd Governor's Cup State Level Fencing Championship which kicks off from today at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.

S Jayenta (Misikholl) and M Premjit (Meethasca) bagged silver and bronze medal respectively.

Altogether 200 fencers from 12 units are taking part in the championship.

International fencer A Sanatomba administered oath to the players.
