Imphal, March 11: AMOFA, Moirang edged past SAI RC, Takyel 4-3 at Moirang Multi-purpose Higher Secondary School ground today to win the double leg contest between the two on 5-3 aggregate in the ongoing 1st Manipur State League football tournament.

stephen Hmar scored twice (6th, 72nd) while L Lokesh (33rd) and M Bijen (82nd) chipped in with one apiece for the hard fought win today.

Th Inaotomba (7th, 90th) and K Herojit (70th) were the SAI scorers.

In another of the day, TRAU (Tiddim road) outplayed home side PYC, Phoudel 4-0 with Lunminlal Khongsai striking twice (31st, 40th) as Md Sabir Ali (32nd) and Jamkhotinlien (83rd) found the mark on one occasion each.

The first leg tie between the two had ended on 3-3 draw.

ESU, Wangkhei suffered a 4-1 humiliation in front of its home fan against SSU, Singjamei whose R Banny Chiru scored in the 48th and 72nd minutes.

David Kamson (67th) and Tiken (90th) scored one each to ensure the visiting team's comfortable victory.

L Ibothoi scored ESU's consolation goal in the 69th minute.

SSU had also won the previous match between the two at 2-1.Playing away from home, Shangakpham outfit NEROCA scripted a facile 1-0 win over YWC, Thambalkhong when Ksh Malemnganba struck the match-winner in the 81st minute.

NEROCA's win today also tied the aggregate score between the two at 1-1.
