Manipur judokas stay on top

Imphal, August 08, 2013: Host Manipur added 14 medals, including four gold, to its overnight tally of one yellow metal to occupy the top position on the second day of the Sub Junior national Judo Championship 2013-14 at Khuman Lampak indoor stadium today.

While the host judokas have pocketed five gold and same number of silver and bronze medals with two days of competition still left, Mizoram are in second place on 12 medals including four gold and four silver as Delhi occupy the third spot in 10 medals comprising of four gold and two silver.

Fifteen other States have also opened their medal account in the championship being organised by Manipur Judo Association.
