State fencers bag two gold

Imphal, March 25: State fencers grabbed two team gold medals on the first day of the 16th Senior National Fencing Championship being organised by Punjab Fencing Association under the aegis of Fencing Association of India at Amritsar from March 25 to 28.The first gold medal came in epee team event.

The team comprises of E Geeta, S Riorita, M Sandhyarani and L Samashakhi.

Foil men�s team comprising of O Sovaraj, A Romio, S Jayenta and Th Rajeshwor also secured gold in the event.
