Imphal, December 12: Dark horse Keikhu Youth Club (KYC) lifts the VI edition of Jadonang Memorial Football Tournament being organised by Zeliangrong Football Association at THAU ground defeating strong favourite Keishamthong Football Club by a solitary goal in the final today.

The all important goal was scored by Leipakchao Gangmei in the 85th minute after a barren first half.

Winner KYC received cash prize of Rs 20,000 along with trophy while the runnersup team KFC received Rs 10,000 along with trophy.

The 2nd runners-up trophy went to Gaipuinam United Football Association (GUFA) with a cash prize of Rs 5000.Ninja Golmei of KFC was declared best player of the tournament along with a cash prize of Rs 1000 and trophy while the best goalkeeper award went to K Namsinlung of Majorkhul Young Association (MYA) with a cash prize of Rs 1000 and trophy.

With 13 goals in his kitty Dipu Gangmei of Gaidimjang Young Association (GYA) was the highest goal scorer and recieved a cash prize of Rs 1000 donated by Dr David Gangmei of Kakhulong in memory of (L) Gangmei Chagairung Kabui, ex-secy of Kabui Sports Union.

Awards for Best discipline team and best march pass performance went to Tharon Sporting Youth Club and Dimdaijang Youth Club respectively and recieved a cash prize of Rs 1000 each and cup.
