Imphal, November 20: Y Chingkhei scored a hattrick to help THAU Sports Academy, Thangmeiband defeat Tendongyang Youth Club (TYC) 4-1 in the final of the 23rd State Level mini Football Tournament today.

Chingkhei scored in the 23rd, 40th and 50th minutes while Subash added another to the team's tally with a 42nd minute goal.

The Tendongyang consolation goal came through RK Sushil in the 30th.While the winning side was presented top prize of Rs 4000 and the trophy runners-up TYC had to be content with the Rs 2000 cash award and trophy.

M Millan of TYC was declared the best player of the tournament and WAFA, Wangoi adjudged the best discipline team.

In the summit clash between Namdilong Youth Club, Kanglatongbi and THAU, Thangmeiband for the 17th State level sub-junior tournament title yesterday the former won 2-0.
