Imphal, August 25: USA, Khurai literally put the final nail in PYA, Kairang's coffin with a solitary goal win in the second phase's last match of the MK Ghanendrajit IE Super Division football league tournament 2005 at Thau ground today.

After a lacklustre first half, Th Devan sealed the PYA fate with USA's only goal second minutes after the break.

The loss meant automatic relegation of winless PYA to the lower division from next season while the Khurai side clung onto fifth position in the six team competition with eight points in the double leg tournament organised by Imphal East District Football Association.

YWC, Thambalkhong had won the championship on 26 points four more than second placed Neroca of Sangakpham while Citizens' Club, Soibam Leikai occupied the third spot.
