Imphal, September 10: Men�s and women�s defending champions N Imomcha of Thoubal and Y Memala of Imphal West retained their respective title in the Stag 27th State and Inter-District Table Tennis Championship which concluded at the Indoor Stadium, DMC campus today.

In the women�s singles final, reigning champion Memala defeated her Imphal West compatriot A Sanatombi 11-8, 11-9, 11-9, 8-11, 11-9 while Imomcha subdued his Imphal West rival RK Rajesh to claim the singles title at 13-11, 11-7, 6-11, 11-7, 11-9.The final day matches and prize distribution function of the championship were held with MLA I Hemochandra and Manipur Table Tennis Association president Ch Birendra as the chief guest and president respectively.
