Imphal, January 27: The Kuki Students' Organisation, Imphal branch has condoled the untimely demise of Master Haokhosei Haokip (13) and Master Holkhothang Haokip (13) on January 25 near Haokip Veng along Imphal river bank, conveyed a press release.

Alleging that the mud slide in which the two boys were killed was a man made disaster and a result of the Government's insensitivity, the KSO demanded immediate halt to digging and collection of sand at the river bank.

It also demanded urgent compensation to the families of the deceased.
