Ukhrul, August 18: Prizes to the winners of the Ukhrul District Essay Writing Competition organised by Democratic Socio-Cultural Regeneration Forum (DSC-RF) have been presented during an impressive function held at "Ngashan Inn, Hamleikhong today.

Chingya Luithui of Wino Bazaar, Ukhrul who won the first prize of the competition walked home with the TATA Sky Net work facilities with two months' recharge and a certificate while R.Ahao and Thingmakoi Raingam, who were placed in the second and third position respectively, were given one colour Television and Nokia hand-set along with certificate each.

A consolation prizes were also presented to 10 other competitors.

The Topic of the essay competition was "To what extend regeneration is justified in our society".
