Imphal, Jun 17: As a part of the MCA programme, 35 AR under the aegis of HQs 59 Mountain Brigade extended their benevolent gesture to the destitute children home and school located at Nungba yesterday.

A press release issued by PIB (DW) informed that the AR's aid items include school uniforms for 150 children, shoes, socks, school bags, note-books, utensils, construction material for urinal block and television set with DTH equipment.

It also conveyed of the gratitude extended by the principal, teaching staff and children of the destitute for the aid provided by 35 AR.

The press release also noted that such benevolent gesture of the AR would go a long way in winning the hearts and minds of the local populace.
