UKLF asks DSOs to give in

Imphal, May 17: On the charges of swindling and forfeiting rice, sugar, kerosene etc provided by the State Government for impoverished sections of people, all the DSOs have been intimated to give in to the United Kuki Liberation Front within five days.

A statement issued by its secretary of Information and Publicity NC Brolin Baite conveyed of UKLF taking strong exception to such swindling of public properties by few individuals and warned that if the DSOs fail to pay heed to its warning, death punishment would be awarded.

The accused DSOs are Girani Singh of Bishnupur district, S Iboton of Thoubal, AS Angayung of Chandel, Soso Uni of Senapati, Th Indrajit of Kangpokpi and Michel Ginzasun of Churachandpur.

The statement also appealed to all people to extend cooperation in the fight against corruption.
