Imphal, December 15 2010: Volunteers of Rural Development Club, and Meira Paibi Lup of Malom Tulihal Makha Leikai today staged a sit in protest against the kidnapping of Dr Nabachandra and Soibam Joykumar by unknown persons.

They condemned the inhuman act of kidnapping persons.

It may be mentioned that Dr Wanghem Nabachandra (34) is posted at the PHC at Leimapokpam as Ayush doctor.

Unknown miscreant kidnapped him on December 13 and was rescued by police commandos.

In another incident, Soibam Joykumar of the same locality was also kidnapped by unknown persons on December 9.He was released on the next day after he was abducted.
