Imphal, April 15: Reminding of the assurance given by the Chief Minister O Ibobi that Jiribam sub-division would be upgraded to a full fledged revenue district after the Assembly elections, the Jiribam District Demand Committee (JDDC) has urged the Chief Minister to take a Cabinet decision in this regard before April 30.A memorandum to this effect was also submitted to the Chief Minister.

It also cautioned that JDDC would be constraint to re-launch several modes of agitation in case the State Government fails to act positively and promptly in the matter.
