RNPO condoles passing of Lushong Phaomei

Tamenglong, February 10 2026: The Rongmei Naga People's Organisation (RNPO) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Lushong Phaomei, who passed away on February 10, 2026 .

Born in September 1947, the late Lushong Phaomei was the father of Thuigamlung Phaomei, general secretary of RNPO.

In a condolence message issued today, the RNPO stated that the organisation is profoundly saddened by the loss and shares in the grief, pain and sorrow of the bereaved family.

"May he rest in the loving arms of God and may his soul find peace and eternal solace," the organisation said.
